Friendship Bank
As one of the concrete actions for the theme of the competition, "Thanks and Friendship," we support disaster-stricken areas both in Japan and abroad.

We have established a "Friendship Bank" to support disaster-hit areas in Japan and abroad, with the three pillars of personnel, material, and financial spport. We aim to create a marathon that comprehensively supports areas affected by natural disasters by enhancing bank stock in various events related to the event.
Personnel Aid
To ensure ongoing support for broad-based events and local volunteer activities, in cooperation with Hyogo Voluntary Plaza , we are calling for volunteers to register with Hyogo Voluntary Plaza's mail magazine titled V Plaza Tsushin. Registrants will regularly receive the V Plaza Tsushin containing calls for volunteers, information on activities inside the prefecture and more.
- About Hyogo Voluntary Plaza "V Plaza Tsushin"
We provide information that can be used not only for large-scale events such as the Kobe Marathon, but also for daily community development activities and disaster relief efforts. Why not use the Kobe Marathon as an opportunity to contribute to other volunteer activities? If you are interested, please fill out the necessary information on the volunteer application form.
Material Aid
We will be implementing initiatives to utilize clothing and other items donated by runners on the day of event.
Financial Aid
200 yen of the participation fee, as well as the cost of wearing a charity athlete bib (excluding production costs) and donations collected from setting up donation boxes will be donated to areas affected by natural disasters and to organizations (selected through public applications) working to prevent and reduce disasters.
Why don't you join us in spreading a circle of Thanks&Friendship from Kobe?
Friendship Bank accepts donations to support areas affected by natural disasters and organizations engaged in disaster prevention and mitigation activities.
The donations we receive from everyone are distributed to recipients determined by the Friendship Bank Allocation Committee based on the urgency and importance of the need for support. These recipients include areas affected by natural disasters and organizations engaged in disaster prevention and mitigation activities, and are used to support disaster-stricken areas. We appreciate your continued support.
